Products & Services
Junkers & Muellers is one of the leading European producers of sunshading textiles. We offer a wide range of products both for indoor use and for outdoor use, such as roller blinds, pleated blinds, vertical blinds, honeycomb, awnings, panel blinds.
We are able to equip textiles for a wide range of applications and requirements and offer individual solutions.
Mediatex® is the name of our product range for digital print up to 5.10 m. All of our materials were developed in collaboration with the graphical industry for frontlit, backlit, displays, expo marketing, shop fitting, show cast, interior design, wall covering and fine art.
Sunshading fabrics - roller blinds & pleated blinds
Our comprehensive internal collection offers a wide range of textile ideas. From transparent through to darkening fabrics, from plain coloured materials in large colour ranges through to prints, and from simple basic qualities through to fabrics containing special threads. Available in standard widths ranging from 195 to 410 cm.
Indoor sun shading with additional functions is particularly in demand in the public sector. Flame-resistance is an absolute must, but screen workplace suitability and noise protection are important parameters also. All of our fabrics undergo comprehensive technical tests. The results are available to customers in the form of technical datasheets.
JM Ceiling
Junkers & Muellers now also develops and produces high-quality textiles for the use as stretch ceilings or wall coverings. Here we concentrate on the production of different textiles, which can be accommodated in standard tensioning systems available on the market. On our versatile machinery equipment we are able to produce aesthetical, functional and PVC-free stretch ceiling textiles up to a width of 510 cm.
Various materials are already used by our distributors. We are constantly expanding our color collection and the areas of application
Commercial Collection
The planning of an energy efficient building is becoming more and more important in the public sector. Junkers & Müllers has paid special attention to this application area for many years.
The extensive commercial product range covers roller blinds as well as vertical blinds in transparency grades from transparent, semi-transparent and dimout to blackout. Fabrics with varying openness factors and finishes offer solutions for a wide range of different requirements.
All products are highly flame-resistant and certified according to various fire protection standards, e.g. B1, BS, C1, M1, B-s1,d0, California U.S. Title 19, NFPA 701. With roll widths of up to 410 cm / 161“, our materials are suitable for use on large window areas.
Mediatex®
Textiles for digital print up to 5.10m
Mediatex® is our product range for digital print. All of our materials were developed in combination with the graphics industry specifically for digital print. This involvement from our customers at the very beginning has resulted in a range of fabrics that are unique in terms of quality and handling.
Mediatex® Covertex UPcycling FR
COVERTEX UPcycling FR – JM´s allrounder in up to 5.10m fabric width
MEDIATEX® COVERTEX UPcycling is a flame-retardant material, suitable for application as wall covering, banner, frontlit, frame tensioning system, art reproduction and roll-up. It can be printed with latex, UV and solvent inks.
This fabric provides users with a particularly sophisticated wall covering due to the textile fabric structure of its front side, while its grey reverse hides any colour differences or dirt on the wall behind. MEDIATEX® COVERTEX UPcycling is available in widths of up to 5.10m and can therefore be used to cover larger areas with no seams whatsoever. The product does not require any dispersion adhesive and can instead be adhered to the wall with normal wallpaper paste.
MEDIATEX® COVERTEX UPcycling is also an ideal solution for anyone looking for a high-quality roll-up material. On top of all this, it also boasts an added highlight in the form of its intelligent grey reverse, which minimises light transmission and therefore prevents disruptive light from shining through from behind. The fact that MEDIATEX® COVERTEX UPcycling is available in different widths, enables it to correspond to the standard printing widths used in this area of application, which helps to avoid unnecessary waste.
With this product Junkers & Muellers also takes another step towards sustainability. As a textile manufacturer our code of conduct has been continuously influenced by the environmental compatibility of our products as well as the sustainable approach in designing the entire production process.
MEDIATEX® COVERTEX Upcycling is made of at least 80 % recycled post-consumer polyester. 3-4 recycled 1.5 liter PET bottles are processed in one square meter of our Upcycling material. This helps to curb the worldwide pollution caused by plastic waste and recycling extends the life cycle of raw materials, minimizing the demand for virgin resources. The eco-balance of such processes is convincing; energy and above all water consumption are much lower than conventional chemical processing of fibers – a contribution to reduce the ecological footprint.
Moreover, MEDIATEX® COVERTEX UPcycling is PVC free, certified according to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® and it meets the requirements of the REACH regulation.
